OCED Liaisons

Clubs aligning with the mission of the Office of Community Engagement and Dialogue can request an OCED Liaison to work with them throughout the schoolyear. With this liaison model, OCED offers:

Regular Check-Ins discussing ongoing initiatives, events, challenges, and opportunities related to community engagement.
Collaboration on projects, workshops, events, and initiatives that promote community engagement and dialogue on campus.
Guidance on planning resources, university resources, and information on OCED SIDE funding.
Regularly communicate success and impact of the liasion program through various channels, such as newsletters, social media, and other campus announcements.
Encourage other student clubs to opt into our liaison office model to enhance inclusion and diversity efforts campus-wide.

CDO Liaisons

All professional and affinity clubs have a Career Coach liaison from the CDO to provide support. Additionally, CDO Employer Partnership Managers are aligned to work with recruiters in specific industries, and also serve as club liaisons for associated professional clubs.

Provide a strategic career curriculum for all students
Provide personalized coaching, resume reviews and mock interviews
Offer access to resources for industry/ functional research and interview prep
Develop relations with employers across industries and geographies
Advocate for the success of all students

Tap into personal recruiting experiences as an information source for new students
Share industry/function resources to aid in the job search process
