Guidelines and information on moving your event to a virtual platform

Steps to pivot from an in-person to virtual event

    Email your speaker(s) to confirm ability to do virtual

    Still submit the Speaker Request Form in CampusGroups

  2. 2

    Email currently registered attendees on update

    Provide zoom link if it is not already listed on your CampusGroups event location

  3. 3

    Edit or create a existing/new CampusGroups event

    You must still create a new CG event rather than editing an existing event and include the prefix "Virtual" or "via Zoom" in the title

  4. 4

    Cancel any in-person services or vendors that were scheduled

    SOM Events will automatically cancel your EMS room reservation
