The OID is the centralized hub for advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at SOM. Our team's mission is to empower members of our community, individually and collectively, to celebrate diversity, foster inclusionary practices, and be intentional and impactful in interactions with one another. The OID offers opportunities for awareness, reflection, and action as we progress on this journey.

Initiatives

OID's initiatives are deliberate efforts of co-curricular education, strategic workshops, and training aimed at promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the Yale School of Management community and organization.

Immersion

OID's cultural immersions involve deeply engaging with and experiencing different cultures through sound, taste, touch, and thought to foster understanding, empathy, and inclusivity in the Yale School of Management community.

Action

OID's action within the Yale School of Management community involves implementing proactive measures such as CARE, restorative practices, policy, and effective communication, all aimed at nurturing diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging among students, faculty, and staff.
