We write to share President Salovey’s remarks against hatred, continuing actions the University is undertaking and provide an update on the campus climate.

In addition, the University has compiled a comprehensive list of official Yale statements, along with an overview of the University’s policy on freedom of expression. This page continues to be updated.

We want to remind you that the Office of Inclusion and Diversity (OID) is here to support students, faculty, and staff, and we will continue to share messages from broader Yale, as well as the available resources on our website. (December 7)

Since October 7th, Yale Public Safety has increased patrols across the university and worked with the FBI and other agencies on campus safety. Members of the Yale community can download and use the LiveSafe app. If you have concerns, please contact YPD immediately by calling 203- 432-4400.

Any student in need of support can contact Mental Health and Counseling at Yale Health, where assistance is available around the clock. The Chaplain's Office (Old Campus, Bingham Hall, Entryway D; (203) 432-1128), Muslim Life at Yale, Yale Religious Ministries, and the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale are among the resources available to all members of our community.
