ConnCAN, an education advocacy nonprofit in Connecticut, is actively looking for 2-3 volunteers to commit about 2-4 hours per week between now and year-end on a project to help compile and publish their 2021 Field Guide. Working with Subira Gordon, Executive Director, and Stephen Sidorak, Public Affairs Manager, the volunteer team would be aiming to build out this field guide with a focus on the writing and data compilation elements of such a report. ConnCAN will then work with their own graphic design team to implement the work for the website. The 2018 Field Guide is accessible here as an example of related work, but again, ConnCAN plans to make this coming year's field guide interactive as a website as opposed to a PDF. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to us with a brief statement of interest so that we can compile and pass along interested students to the ConnCAN team.
