Our 60-plus student clubs are an integral part of the Yale SOM community. Clubs provide forums for discussion and opportunities for action, and they foster students' leadership and business skills via consulting engagements, workshops, roundtables, conferences, and fundraisers. SOM clubs are inclusive networks open to all students to participate as identifying members or as active allies.
Clubs at SOM generally fall into five main categories: Affinity, Cultural-Geographical, Professional, Special Interest, and Sports & Recreation. While many clubs span multiple categories, they are typically listed under the one that best reflects their primary mission and programming.
Only current Yale SOM students (MBA, MMS, MAM, EMBA, and joint-degree students) and their partners are eligible for club membership.
SOM clubs are intended specifically for SOM students, as they are funded by the Student Activity Fees included in tuition.
Students anStudent Partners can join clubs using CampusGroups. Some clubs charge membership dues or equipment fees (examples include Wine Class and Hockey Club). Partners do not have the same access to recruiting or related activities through Yale SOM.
