Club Membership

Only current SOM students (MBA, MMS, MAM, and EMBA, including joint degrees) and their partners are eligible for Club membership. Students or Partners can join clubs using CampusGroups. Some clubs charge membership dues or equipment fees.

Clubs at SOM are intended for SOM students only as they are funded by the Student Activity Fees built into tuition. Certain clubs, such a Yale Grad Rugby and Yale Grad Crew, are open to non-SOM students because they charge membership fees. If your club spans multiple schools or includes members who are not current SOM students, please contact the SOM Clubs team to discuss club structure and CampusGroups use.

All other clubs that may wish to contact Non-SOM students via email can create a contact list in CampusGroups. Individuals can be added to CampusGroups clubs by a school administrator in certain circumstances. In these cases, non-SOM students may not receive any club communication regarding recruiting events. To have contacts added to your group, please send the individuals names, email addresses and length of membership to AASL.

Note on MMS-GBS Students*

GBS students can join most Clubs without restriction. However, given the professional Clubs' primary focus on MBA-level recruiting, it is up to you (GBS students) and the club leaders to navigate what is useful or pertinent for you to attend, based on the goals and programming of the club.

GBS students work with dedicated Career Development Office staff on their professional development and recruitment, who help students successfully launch their global careers through a variety of Career Resources. As a GBS student, if you wish to join these professional Clubs, please reach out to the Club Leaders who will then decide on whether they can grant exception.
