Our mission as the Private Equity & Venture Capital Club is to raise the profile of the Yale School of Management ("SOM") in the private capital community and support members with access to education, practical training, and networking opportunities to accelerate their career development in this space.

We focus on three core pillars: delivering robust education to our community, providing hands-on learning opportunities, and facilitating career connections for those looking to transition into the field.

Healthcare Investing in the AI Era

AI is changing how healthcare companies are built, regulated, and funded. Join us for a conversation with Dr. Ren Du, M.D., M.P.H., founding general partner at Heuristic Capital, a Silicon Valley–based fund investing at the early stage in frontier tech and healthcare. A Yale School of Public Health alum (M.P.H. ‘13), Ren will talk about her path to venture, what it takes to earn a seed or Series A check, where AI is making a real difference in healthcare, and how AI is changing the job of the investor.
