Membership
Out of Office members can choose among three types of membership levels: Levels X, Y, and Z. Out of Office also encourages Allies to become involved in select programming.

Level X members openly identify as LGBTQ+ and are out to everyone in the SOM community and general public.
Level Y members identify as LGBTQ+ and are out to other members of Out of Office, but are confidential outside the organization.
Level Z members identify as LGBTQ+ but remain confidential to the rest of the organization, Yale SOM, and the general public. Level Z members may choose to receive our newsletter and will be known only by select club leaders.
Allies are non-LGBTQ+ identifying individuals that would like to be involved with Out of Office programming and events.
