Yale University Library provides access to current weekly and archived issues of The Economist dating back to 1997 for all students, faculty, and staff. SOM affiliates can access Yale's subscription to The Economist by visiting https://www.economist.com and selecting "Log In" in the right upper corner of the screen. Entering a yale.edu email address should prompt users to authenticate with their NetID and password. Step-by-step instructions are located in the library catalog.
The Economist recommends using a browser on a desktop to log in to their website for the first time. After the first successful login, users can access Yale's subscription on the mobile app.
Financial Times Online
Yale University Library offers access to Financial Times online (FT.com). Current faculty, students, and staff can sign up for unlimited access to FT.com articles and tools, including the FT mobile app.
To register from a computer connected to Yale's network, go to FT.com and follow the instructions to sign up.
To register from a computer connected to an off-campus network, go to the Yale University registration page. You must use your yale.edu email address as your login.
If you need technical assistance, please email education.support@ft.com or call (877) 886-5745. If you already have a paid FT.com subscription and would like to switch to the university's subscription, contact help@ft.com to be reimbursed for the remainder of your subscription.
The New York Times
