Anne Oliver
Founder & CEO of
House of M

House of M Beauty’s love story with Saffron can ultimately be traced back to our founder, Anne Oliver’s, personal journey of illumination.

After the birth of her first child, Anne found herself (as many women do) fighting a difficult battle with postpartum depression.

It was through her research that Anne first discovered that saffron was shown to be an effective mood enhancer. After incorporating saffron into her routine, things took a luminous turn. Not only did Anne’s depression symptoms lift (better moods, less anxiety, better sleep and beyond), but she also began to notice that her skin had become more radiant over time. Inspired by her childhood hero and fellow Vietnamese American Michelle Phan, Anne decided to chase her dream and introduced this miracle ingredient to the world.

One of Anne's core missions in life is to inspire the next generation of Vietnamese American and anyone who connects with her journey to chase their dream, as well as giving back to her community through philanthropic work. Anne dedicates her time to mentor young entrepreneurs, speaks at AAPI, business, female founder conferences and business schools.

A few of Anne's achievements this past year include SHEroes award 2023, AAPI Legislative Caucus AAPI Heritage Month honoree, Forbes 30 under 30 2024.

During the pandemic Anne, her family and House Of M Beauty produced and distributed 5000 hand sanitizer bottles, 25,000 KN95 masks, 25,000 surgical masks, 5000 face shields and beauty products to healthcare workers, front line workers and elders within her community. Anne also spends time co-hosting and donating to charity fundraisers that benefit women and children in Vietnam.

As a Vietnamese immigrant, Anne also hopes to impart to others within her community the hope, inspiration, and ambition that she was able to channel from her background into her vision for House of M Beauty. Through vision, purpose, and courage, the future can be truly bright for all those who pursue it.
