The mission of Yale SOM's Energy Club is to keep abreast of business, economic, policy, politics and regulatory issues in the energy sector, inclusive of traditional oil & gas, renewables, and everything in between. The Club also promotes student interest in energy careers by providing networking opportunities with SOM alumni and practitioners in the sector.

Energy 101
Learn about the energy industry from Oil & Gas to Renewables, Utilities and everything in-between
The club works closely with the CDO to source recruiting opportunities for internships and full-time placement within the energy industry.
Energy Recruiting Working Groups (ERWGs) provide career coaching, networking with industry professionals, and knowledge sharing when recruiting for energy sector roles
Participate in Case Competitions to build hands on experience
Energy Club members recruited into a number of functions within the energy space including renewable energy development, project finance/investment banking/private equity, and technology innovation.
A number of active club members choose to recruit outside of energy including placements in tech, top consulting firms and corporate strategy/finance roles among others
