Roller Skating Night

Student Life is hosting Roller Skating Night at Roller Magic! 

• When: Thursday April 20th
• Time: 8-10 PM (right after Closing Bell!)
• Where: Roller Magic at 60 Harvester Rd, Waterbury CT
• Partners and families welcome. 

Theme & Attire: Throwback/Retro/Vintage Vibes. In honor of Earth Day, we encourage you to recycle your outfits, repurpose accessories, and reimagine fashion from your favorite decade. 

Music: There will be a DJ who will play music from every decade! 

Ticket Details:
A Skating Ticket includes admission to Roller Magic and Skate Rentals. YOU MUST RESERVE 1 TICKET EACH FOR YOURSELF, YOUR PARTNER, OR DEPENDENT(S). 

• Student, Partner, Dependents (Children)

A Bus Ticket includes a bus ride to and from Roller Magic. YOU MUST RESERVE A BUS TICKET SEPARATELY IF YOU CHOOSE TO RIDE THE BUS. 

• Depending on demand, the bus will either pick us up from SOM, Gryphon's Pub, or both. Logistics details will be finalized closer to the date. 
• Bus tickets are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. If there are no more bus tickets, then you will need to find a ride/drive there. A rideshare spreadsheet will be made if demand exceeds bus capacity. 
• If you cannot attend, please cancel your tickets ASAP as we have a strict limit on bus seats.

What is included in my Skating Ticket? 

• Skating and skate rentals. 

Can I drive there instead of riding the bus?

• Yes, there is free parking. 

Is there food and drinks? 

• Food and beverages are available at the rink for purchase. See Menu photo below. 
• There is no alcohol served or permitted at the rinks. This is an alcohol-free event. 

Are children allowed? 

• Yes! Roller Magic has also confirmed that they do have skate sizes for toddlers size 7 up to 15. 

I am not sure I want to skate the entire time. What else is there to do at the rink? 

• There is an arcade with tokens available for purchase!
