Orientation is held rain or shine. Should inclement weather preclude us from gathering outdoors for any of our sessions, we will provide you with an update day-of through your CampusGroups app and Yale e-mail.
Dress code throughout the week is casual. Class photos will be taken on the first day of Orientation.
We have a full line up of programming throughout Orientation. Please make sure to arrive to all sessions on time.
Your Student ID will provide you with entry into Evans Hall. Scan your ID each time you enter the building.
Each day, lunch and morning/afternoon snacks are provided. We try our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions, though you are welcome to bring your own food and snacks.
The Student Kitchen located in the Student Commons on the first floor, containing a refrigerator and microwave available for use.

The Yale SOM Honor Code is intended to foster the school’s exceptional learning environment and to support conduct that will distinguish the faculty, staff, and students in their lives as managers, at school, at school-related functions, and in the larger management community.
You will receive a name plate and name badge at the beginning of Orientation. Please hold onto both, as you will continue using them throughout your time here.
Should you require another one, you will need to purchase a replacement.
Orientation will include a Welcome Reception where food and alcohol are served. Please be aware of SOM's Alcohol Policy.
