Career Resources

Roles in the energy industry are wide and diverse, ranging from topics such as project finance to development and market research. We're here to help students who are interested in pursuing internships or full-time positions in energy, no matter whether you are an industry veteran or a newcomer.

The resources above will be useful during the first few months of your MBA experience. We encourage you to take advantage of our educational resources, reach out to students who interned in the energy industry, explore conferences and case competitions, and keep abreast of SOM Energy Club events through CampusGroups.

Although recruiting typically ramps up in the spring, most external events, case competitions, and conferences, take place in the fall. We encourage you to take advantage of your first semester exploring the industry and learning about the available roles.

We also have a designated CDO team specializing in the energy recruiting pipeline. For students interested in energy, we encourage you to take advantage of career coaching sessions with Deborah Shea.
