ABSC Movie Night
The ABSC Movie Night will be hosted by the African Business Society Club and it's opened for registration. The event offers great opportunity to meet and mingle with ABSC members and SOMers. The Movie Night features screening of the movie, Difret, networking and other engaging activities. Dinner would be served while chilling with new and old friends.

CAS Lecture Series: Angola: Ideology, identity and survival in the shadow of the Cold War.
Dr. Justin Pearce, Leverhulme Early Career Fellow, Department of Politics and International Studies, Cambridge University, will be speaking on pressing issues in Angola as regard her Ideology, identity and survival in the shadow of the Cold War on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the Luce Hall (LUCE), Room 202, 34 Hilhouse, New Haven.
#BringBackOurGirls in Nigerian Feminist
Abosede George, Professor of History and Africana Studies, Barnard College, will be giving a lecture on #BringBackOurGirls in Nigeria Feminist on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the Luce Hall (LUCE), Room 202, 34 Hilhouse, New Haven.
It is important to note that 276 Chibok girls were kidnapped from a Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria with 219 still held in captive.
