Kelly Emery

Hometown: Dedham, MA
Pre-SOM career: Executive Search / HR Consulting
Desired post-SOM direction: Sustainable food systems
Environmental vice: I'm still working on reducing food waste (shopping for one is hard!) but I do compost with a local New Haven company (Peels and Wheels Composting)

Caroline James

Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Pre-SOM career: Public sector consulting at Deloitte
Desired post-SOM direction: Circular economy with packaging and food
Environmental vice:  I phased out meat a few years ago except for fish (I just love sushi too much) but I make it a once-in-a-while treat and not a daily indulgence!

Isabel Moore

Hometown: San Francisco, CA
Pre-SOM career: Led corporate social responsibility and mattress waste reduction initiatives at Casper
Desired post-SOM direction: Somewhere at the intersection of business and the environment...still figuring it out
Environmental vice: I'm a frequent consumer of individual cans of La Croix and my building doesn't recycle (time to invest in a SodaStream) but I compost all my food scraps through the local composting service Peels & Wheels!

Neha Singh

Hometown: Essex Junction, Vermont
Pre-SOM career: Consulting, Education, Nonprofit
Desired post-SOM direction: Consulting, Corp Strategy/Sustainability

Pre-SOM career: Eco-tourism, wildlife conservation, healthcare, and consulting; EY in their Shanghai office
Desired post-SOM direction: Wildlife conservation
Environmental vice: I love the convenience of food deliveries, but I always try to order from restaurants using the least amount of packaging to reduce packaging waste.
