Office Hours with Joe Greenberg of Alta Resources

Alta Resources, LLC is a private company headquartered in downtown Houston. Founded in 1999, Alta has been a leader in the exploration for and development of shale oil and gas assets from the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas and the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania to the liquids-rich Duvernay Shale play in the Kaybob area of Alberta, Canada. George P. Mitchell, who is widely regarded as the father of shale gas for his pioneering role in developing the Barnett Shale in Texas, was a longtime partner with Alta prior to his passing.

Mr. Greenberg founded Alta Resources, LLC in 1999. Mr. Greenberg received a B.S. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale University in 1983, and a Masters in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986. He has 33 years of diversified experience in domestic oil and gas exploration and production.

National Grid Information Session: Leadership Development Program

Learn about National Grid's Leadership Development Program for MBA graduates. The 18-24 month program is designed to expose  hires to the broad range of activities across our functions and jurisdictions, work on a variety of projects, and expand their business network.  After completion of the program, LDP hires will move into a direct management, program management, or strategy development role based on their interests and the organization’s needs. Navigating a Career in Cleantech - Luch Talk with Centrica

Logan Ashcraft and Mike D’Aurizio lead the North American effort for Centrica’s corporate venture capital team, and will be accompanied by Denis Boulanger, who leads the company’s strategy in North America. Centrica is a UK-based energy and services company with customers and employees spanning North America, Israel, and Europe. 
Logan, Mike, and Denis’ experience span working in a global corporate, building the energy and renewables strategy for a high-flying Silicon Valley start-up, and building a corporate venture capital team from the ground up. The team’s opening remarks will include a walk-through of Centrica’s venture capital portfolio and an overview of its strategy for competing in North American power markets. From there, discussion will be revolve around Q&A from the audience. Register here.

As we modernize our electric infrastructure and deploy smart meters and other advanced technologies, we continue to face data breaches and ongoing attempts to disrupt the power grid.
