Learn about the real estate industry. Is it for you? What does a career in real estate entail? What are the benifits? How can you prepare?
Kevin D. Gray, FRICS, received his MArch from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the Yale School of Management. Mr. Gray is a former managing director of real estate investment banking for PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, and the editor, with John R. White, of Shopping Centers and Other Retail Properties as well as a licensed real estate appraiser and broker, and a registered architect. Mr. Gray is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chartered Surveyors, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Gray is lecturer in real estate at the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Architecture.

We expect varying levels of experience and skill in Excel modeling for real estate analysis.
We will cap the attendees at 45. Space is limited. According to our survey over 80 people were interested in attending this event. The registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Bring a laptop with Excel 2007 or 2010 pre-loaded and will have access to electrical power at their seat to power their computer throughout the day.
The curriculum will contain the following topics:

Challenge Overview:
Graduate student teams from top business schools compete for the highest honors and cash awards in an invitation-only real estate case competition.
The participating schools in the 2012 Challenge were Berkeley, Chicago, Columbia, Cornell, Georgetown, Michigan, Northwestern, NYU, UCLA, UNC-Chapel Hill, USC, UT, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wharton and Wisconsin.
