SAVE THE DATE: Kellogg Education Innovation Case Competition (OCTOBER 25-26, 2013) Across the country, education leaders, experts, funders and entrepreneurs are developing innovative solutions to our current education crisis. We believe that graduate students can and should be at the center of many of the forces of change sweeping the nation at this critical time. The goal of the Education Innovation Case Competition is to get top graduate students excited about and invested in education reform through entrepreneurship so that they can contribute to, and take a leadership role in, the incredible work that is being done to ensure every student has the opportunity for a great education. For the fifth year in a row, Kellogg’s Education Industry Club has partnered with The Mind Trust to write a case that will engage students in cutting-edge education reform. In their analysis and presentations, teams will be asked to think boldly and creatively in envisioning the most effective way to grow and scale an exciting new type of education organization. Finalists will also have the opportunity to meet and network with education leaders across the public, private and non-profit sectors, making connections that will push the conversation forward. This competition offers a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in the world of education reform, while presenting to and interacting with education leaders from across the country. We hope that you will consider participating in this exciting event. This year’s Case Competition will take place on October 25-26th. In past years, teams from graduate schools across the country, including Kellogg, MIT Sloan, HBS, Booth, Haas, Wharton, Ross and HKS, were selected to compete. Teams are 3-5 students, and applications (attached) are due by September 29. If you have questions, please email Lauren Wein (lwein2014@kellogg.northwestern.edu), Antoinette Bronesky (abronesky2014@kellogg.northwestern.edu) or Harsha Dronamraju (hdronamraju2014@kellogg.northwestern.edu). |
