Football as a Second Language: Introduction to American Football for International Students

If you grew up thinking of "football" as the name of the game played by people like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, or if you ever wondered why it's called FOOTball if players hold the ball (is that even a ball?) with their hands, this session is for you!
Join PCC faculty for a fun hands-on presentation to introduce American football to international students, or anyone who didn't grow up with it. In addition to the basics of this high-energy game, focus will be given to its cultural and linguistic aspects, such as everyday idioms derived from it. Food will be provided.
