Instructor: Dustin Wilson
Dustin is a Master Sommelier, entrepreneur, and former Wine Director of the three-Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park in NYC. His wine career spans two decades at premier dining institutions—including The Little Nell, Frasca Food & Wine, and RN74—as well as co-founding national wine retailer Verve Wine and hospitality advisory firm Après Cru.
Originally inspiredby a love of geography, travel, and culinary culture, Dustin rose to international prominence after starring in the acclaimed documentary series SOMM, which demystified the rigorous path to the top of the wine world. Known for his approachable, relaxed teaching style, he strips away pretense from fine wine to focus on regional identity, craftsmanship, and enjoyment. Dustin brings his deep industry background, entrepreneurial perspective, and passion for education to guide Yale students through the art, business, and pleasure of the wine world.
