Join us for Social Impact Lab with Satoshi Suga '26! After taking Professor Sue Carter's Private Capital and Impact Investing course, 2Y MBA Satoshi Suga developed a thesis that India presents one of the most compelling frontiers for impact investing today. To test this hypothesis on the ground, he leveraged the GSE India experience to evaluate the market firsthand. Following two immersive trips, extensive conversations with Yale experts and his broader network, and deep reflection, he decided to fully commit to this path post-MBA.

This talk explores how this journey solidified his vision to pursue venture capital for human capital development in Bangalore and the steps he is taking to drive broad, systemic change in emerging markets in India and Brazil.

As always, lunch will be served!

About Satoshi:
After an early career in engineering and R&D at Fox Sports, Satoshi transitioned directly into science education. While teaching physics and engineering in Oakland, CA, he founded Trusted Network of Teachers to improve educator retention. Driven to make a larger systemic impact, he came to business school in pursuit of new experiences for inspiration and found himself in Brazil and then India through the GSE program at SOM. This experience introduced him to impact investing and inspired his current focus: launching a venture fund dedicated to human capital development in India.
