Join VITA for the 2020 Tax Season Certification Party. You will complete a multiple choice, open-book certification quiz. There will be pizza and club leaders on hand to answer questions while you go through the certification.

If you would like to certify as a Basic Preparer, this is the event for you. If you would like to certify as an Advanced Preparer, this is also the event for you.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program at Yale provides New Haven residents with free tax services. These fun and interactive training sessions help volunteers prepare for the annual certification with the IRS.

Note: you are welcome to certify on your own. Instructions will be provided. However, it is often easier and more fun to complete the certification with the group.
