YHSI + BAHM Case Competition

This year's Yale Healthcare Services Innovation (YHSI) Case Competition is being hosted in collaboration with the Business School Alliance for Healthcare Management (BAHM). This year's case has been generously sponsored by RHA Health Services, and will focus on innovating care for individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

One team from each BAHM member school are welcome to register; teams of 3-5 graduate level students, with at least one MBA are eligible. Please indicate below your team's name, school, and degree program. Each team mem

Joint International Teams (JITs) are welcome to register. JITs may consist of 3-5 graduate students, with only 2 coming from the same BAHM member school. JITs must also contain at least one MBA student per team. If you are interested in joining a JIT, please register using the applicable in-person or virtual option. When registering, please indicate your team name as "JIT". After the registrations have been received, BAHM will reach out and assist with the formation of JIT teams.

If you are a Yale graduate student seeking to register and compete for this event, please reach out to Claire Masters (claire.masters@yale.edu) and Howard Forman (howard.forman@yale.edu) for consideration. As only one team per BAHM school is permitted to register, your email should state why you believe you should be included in the Yale team. Each team (including the Yale team) must have at least one MBA student, which includes dual degree MBAs and EMBAs. Please explicitly state in your email that the event is February 23rd and February 24th and that in-person attendance is required. Please send your statement of interest by end of day December 2nd.

Please note that the $25 ticket price for registration is a refundable deposit. We will fully refund the ticket price after the event, if you attend. Extenuating circumstances which prevent your attendance will also be refunded, if communicated in advance of the event. Each team member must purchase a ticket.

The course of events will include a welcome reception and happy hour on Thursday, February 23rd, 2023. The case presentations will be given by teams on Friday, February 24th, 2023. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on Friday. Following the awards ceremony there will be a networking reception with the judges and executives from RHA Health Services.

As part of the registration process, please download and sign (electronic signatures accepted) the attached Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Once signed, please email yalehsi@gmail.com as a team with all team members' signed NDAs.
