Yale SOM Golf Club's Inaugural Ryder Cup Golf Event

Join the Yale SOM Golf Club for its inaugural Ryder Cup-inspired golf event! This exciting day of friendly competition and team spirit is open to all students, whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out. We'll divide into two teams, Team 1Y and Team 2Y, to experience the thrill of international-style match play.

Event Highlights:
- Match Play Format: Inspired by the Ryder Cup, teams will compete in a series of matches to determine the overall winner.
- Team Spirit: Enjoy camaraderie and sportsmanship as you represent your team in a fun and competitive environment.
- Food & Refreshments: Drinks and food will be provided following the end of the event as we announce the winners of the event.
- Prizes: Compete for a chance for bragging rights as well as prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pairings.

Tee Time Details:
- Reserved Tee Times: We have secured 10 tee times (incl. range balls and carts) starting at 10:56am, allowing for a total of 40 participants.
- Match Format: Each foursome will be paired in a 2v2 scramble (match play) format, with two players from Team 1Y competing against two players from Team 2Y. This format ensures that everyone contributes to their team's success while enjoying the camaraderie of playing with fellow students.
- What to Bring: Golf clubs, comfortable shoes, and a smile!
