Join us for a fireside chat with Charlie Negaro moderated by Professor AJ Wasserstein. Charlie is the CEO of Chabaso Bakery and Atticus Market. Charlie will speak about growing and scaling a family enterprise, building a purpose-driven for profit business that elevates local grain farmers, and founding a nonprofit to support food entrepreneurship in Connecticut.

Charlie turned Atticus into the beloved bookstore-cafe it is today from its roots as a simple used bookstore, and he also opened Atticus Market in East Rock. He's the second-generation CEO of Chabaso, a wholesale manufacturer of artisan breads, which was founded by his father Charles Negaro, Sr. Most recently, Charlie co-founded CT Food Launchpad to leverage his experience with bringing products to market to help emerging CT food brands with market ready products to grow their business and get on retailer shelves.
