Join Prof. Todd Cort & Xavier Rolet for a fireside chat about deploying sustainable finance for regenerative agriculture projects. Of course, the only way to talk about wine is with a glass in hand - we'll be pouring tasting from Xavier's own vineyards in France. If you are interested in any part of the Ag value chain, this event is for you!

Thank you to CBEY for co-hosting the event with the SOM FAB Club & Wine Society!

Todd is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainability at the Yale School of Management and has a courtesy appointment at the Yale School of the Environment. He serves as Faculty Co-Director for the Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) and the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance (YISF). His research and teaching focus on data and metrics in corporate sustainability and ESG investing and he is in the final stages of completing his DipWSET certification.

Xavier has held numerous positions in the financial world, including CEO of the London Stock Exchange and senior positions at Goldman Sachs and others. A tireless advocate for supporting start-ups and SMEs, he is recognised by Harvard Business Review as one of the Top 100 CEOs in the World. He holds a post graduate degree in Defense Studies and Economic Intelligence from IHEDN, an MBA in International Finance from Columbia Business School and an MSc in Management from Kedge Business School. But his heart is never far from the natural world, which led him thirty years ago to find and found La Verrière, the diamond-in-the-rough abandoned Provencal wine estate where he now produces super premium organic wine under the ┬½ Ch├¬ne Bleu ┬╗ brand with his wife Nicole and their team. He is passionate about conservation, riparian restoration and regenerative agriculture & ranching which he pursues in his Centennial Valley ranch where he is currently working on a native holartic ad-fluvial Arctic Grayling restoration program with Montana's Fish Wildlife and Parks. He is also a keen natural horseman, fly-fisherman, beekeeper & Rally Raid racer. Knighted as a KBE (Knight Commander of the British Empire) in 2015, he is also a Knight of the French Legion of Honor, an Officer of the Royal Sharifian Order of Al-Alawi of Morocco as well as ┬½ Echansonnier of Chateauneuf-du-Pape ┬╗.
