Junior Achievement Volunteering Event

Join the Education Club, in collaboration with the Dean's Office, in volunteering with Junior Achievement at a local New Haven school! We will be teaching a curriculum of financial literacy, career readiness & entrepreneurship, which is curated by Junior Achievement.

Location: Roberto Clemente Leadership Academy, Downtown New Haven
Date: March 31st
Time: Approximately 8am-3pm (details to be confirmed)
Grades: Kindergarten-5th grade
Food: Lunch will be provided!
What we need from you: Just bring yourself! You don't have to have any prior knowledge of these topics.

Please note that you must also register for the separate Campus Groups event for the mandatory training, led by JA at Evans Hall on February 27th from 11:45am-12:45pm.

JA and Ed Club hope to have a diverse group volunteers in all aspects because we think that representation matters in inspiring young children.

We know that SOM students have a lot of stories to share in many forms, and we hope this event will be the start of a long-term partnership that will create opportunities to get involved in the New Haven community and inspire more people to be whoever they want to be!
