Come learn about the new GOP tax plan with experts from across Yale University. In late 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump signed into law the most significant tax reform in more than three decades. Passed by a party-line vote, Republicans and Democrats have opposing views to whether the plan is good for the country. The aim of the panel is to objectively discuss some of the key points that the plan addresses and discuss the implications for individuals and businesses in the United States and abroad. Lunch provided!

Speakers include:
• Andrew Metrick, Michael H. Jordan Professor of Finance and Management
• Peter K. Schott, Juan Trippe Professor of International Economics
• Ray C. Fair, John M. Musser Professor of Economics
• William B. English, Senior Lecturer in Finance, former Senior Special Advisor to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve

The panel is co-hosted by Economic Development Club and Business and Politics Club.
