WiLD Acadia National Park Weekend

Yale SOM community members are invited to join WiLD for a weekend of hiking, climbing, and leaf peeping in Acadia National Park in Maine! 

We'll be staying at the Acadia Inn in Bar Harbor for two nights, and while in Acadia you can choose from a range of outdoor activities: hiking, climbing, biking, and more. Please note that this ticket includes two nights lodging (with breakfast), Saturday trail lunch / snacks, Saturday group dinner, and national park entrance fees. WiLD will help coordinate activities such as guided climbing or bike rentals, but those will entail an additional fee if you choose to take part. While attendees are responsible for their own travel to and from Acadia, WiLD help coordinate carpooling and connect those needing rides with open seats. 

Rough Itinerary:

• Friday (10/24): Cars will depart from SOM Friday morning / afternoon depending on driver schedules. Due to different departure times members will be responsible for their own dinner (lots of great restaraunts in Bar Harbor)
• Saturday (10/25): Breakfast at hotel. We will divide up into groups depending on where interests lie. Potential activities include hiking trails such as the Beehive Loop in Acadia, top-rope climbing at Otter Cliffs, nearby bouldering, or more. WiLD will be providing sandwich supplies and snacks for lunch, and in the evening we'll share stories from the day over a group dinner covered by WiLD.
• Sunday (10/26): Cars will depart on own time based on driver schedules. Breakfast at hotel and likely a quick morning hike in Acadia before departure
