Harvard-Yale 2025 Tailgate

NOTE: All purchases are final. There is no cancellation and no refunds. You may sell your ticket if you are no longer able to attend.

Celebrate one of SOM's greatest traditions with Student Life! The SOM Tailgate for Yale Harvard game is on.

Yale Harvard Tailgate 2025 Overview:
Date: Saturday, November 22nd
Time: 9 AM - 12:45 PM (Note: the tailgate will go on slightly past the game kick-off/start time at noon)
Location: Armory Field
Event capacity: 1000 SOM attendees

• HBS has already been allotted a separate quantity of tickets as this is a joint tailgate.

Ticket Registration:

• Ticket Prices: $50 for student, $60 for partner
  • 2 partner tickets max
• Each attendee will receive a ticket wristband for entry/exit at the tailgate.
• There will be no ticket wristbands available for purchase onsite.
• No ticket wristband, no entry. No exceptions.
• Registration opens on Friday, 10/31 at 8 AM and will close on Monday, 11/3 at 11:55 PM ET. 

What’s Included in Your Ticket:

• 2 drink tickets and Bears BBQ Catering
• There are vegetarian options as well.
• Each drink ticket can be redeemed for one of the following:
  • 1 alcoholic drink (beer, wine, or hard seltzer) OR;
  • 2 non-alcoholic cans of soda OR;
  • 1 non-alcoholic mocktail.
• After completion of two drink tickets, there will be a cash/credit card bar available to purchase additional drinks.
• ALL FOOD AND DRINKS WILL STOP SERVICE AT 12 NOON. THIS IS PER YALE ATHLETIC'S POLICY TO ALIGN WITH THE KICK-OFF START TIME. 
• Lawn games and DJ
• Private tailgate space for SOM and ticketed guests (HBS, partners, etc.)
• Security (fencing plus dedicated security staff)

Tailgate Expectations:

As this is a Student Life-led tailgate, all attendees must adhere to SOM policies, including, but not limited to the following:

• All attendees must be 21+ to attend.
• Per Yale Athletics policy, food and drink service will end at 12 noon when kick-off occurs.
• No outside food or alcohol is allowed into the tailgate.

FAQs:

1. Can I cancel my tailgate ticket? No. All purchases are non-refundable and non-cancellable. 
    
2. Can I re-sell my tailgate ticket (SOM or Guest)? If in the event that you can no longer attend, you may sell your ticket and we will transfer your ticket on the back-end. The buyer will pay you directly for the ticket. 
    
3. How will I know where to go for the SOM Tailgate? Don't worry! We will be prepping a tailgate map that shows you where we are located and what each of our plots entails (bar, food, games, etc!). This will come out the week of The Game.
    
4. The Game - How do I get tickets to the Game? The free student football tickets have not been released by Yale Athletics. We have asked the Ticket Director to give us notice before they publish, and we have not received word yet. We will continue to keep everyone apprised as soon as we know. In the meantime, Side Reserved Seats are now available for the SOM community to purchase through this link here.
    
5. What do I do before the Game? Plan to have one of the greatest days of your b-school life. Bc YOMBAO (you only MBA once).
