Topic: Balancing Long-Term Sustainability with Rapid Expansion: Navigating the Challenges of Scaling a Non-Profit in the Indian Context
Pooja Rai is a second-year MBA student and the co-president of the Consulting Club at Yale School of Management. With a brief background in product management and an architecture degree from IIT Kharagpur, Pooja founded Anthill Creations, a non-profit based in India, in 2017. Under her leadership, Anthill has built over 500 inclusive playgrounds for children from upcycled materials, reaching over 250,000 children across 23 states in India. Pooja, recognized by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus for her social entrepreneurship, is also a TEDx speaker and the author of a book on women entrepreneurs called The Road Not Taken.
