The organizers follow Yale's deep history of fostering expressive activity. As an academic institution dedicated to free inquiry and the search for truth, the university is committed to free expression. Guidance regarding free expression and peaceable assembly at Yale can be found here: https://secretary.yale.edu/student-life/guidance-regarding-free-expression-and-peaceable-assembly-yale

Group Norms:
1. Be Present: Listen without interrupting or engaging with your own mental chatter
2. Come with a learning and growth mindset. Nobody knows everything, but together we know a lot.
3. Assume best intent. Challenge with love and not judgment
4. Ask permission to talk more another time about something someone said. They may say no.
5. Save questions for the Q&A, and use this space for questions that further discussion rather than ad hominem.
