As part of the Celebration of Women at SOM series and in honor of Black History Month, we're hosting a diversity & inclusion event titled "The Journey to Equity". Please join this robust community discussion around both progress to date on the gender equity topic, while also engaging in 'real' talk around why progress hasn't been quicker in advancing women, particularly women of color. Joining the panel are faculty members who will share labor statistics and research on gender inequity, and alumnae who will contribute their perspectives and experiences. Topics will include which strategies are being used to tackle this problem, personal experience being a woman in business, and how SOM students can affect change starting now.
