Please join Women in Management as we welcome three Yale and SOM alumnae to discuss their extensive backgrounds in the financial services industry: Diana Wagner (’95) from Capital Group, Jamila Abston (’17) from Ernst & Young, and Renee Greene (’21) from Goldman Sachs. The conversation will be moderated by SOM faculty members Alex Zentefis and Heather Tookes and will explore topics surrounding how to think about and navigate diversity, equity, and inclusion in finance.

Diana Wagner is Equity Portfolio Manager at Capital Group. She has 25 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 21 years. Earlier in her career as an equity investment analyst, she covered global semiconductor equipment and paper & forest products companies, as well U.S. health care services and semiconductor capital equipment companies. Prior to joining Capital, Diana was at ING Barings in London and at SBC Warburg in New York. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in art history from Yale.

Jamila Abston is Partner and US Financial Inclusion Leader at Ernst & Young LLP. She has over 15 years of financial services experience working in both private and public sectors. During the global financial crisis, she left EY for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where she helped spearhead a greater focus on risk-based examinations as an expert advisor and then Assistant Regional Director for its Division of Examinations. She has since returned to EY where she now leads the Americas Financial Services Risk Management division. She earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Florida A&M, a master’s in accountancy from the University of Virginia, and an MBA in Asset Management from Yale.

Renee Greene is Vice President, Investment Grade Credit Trader at Goldman Sachs. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, she served for six years, active duty in the United States Army as a Korean Cryptologic Linguist. Currently, Renee also serves as the Chief of Staff of the Goldman Sachs Veterans Network Steering Committee and as a coach to interns through the Global Markets Diversity Council annual summer program.
