Please join a panel from the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division to learn about the private equity experiences of Ann Berry (Corporate Equity), Neha Santiago (Real Estate) and Jennifer Neff (Strategic Capital). The panel will describe their career paths from college through business school to their current roles in investing.
Panelist Bios:
Ann Berry is a Vice President in the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division, focusing on Industrials and Natural Resources corporate private equity investing. In this role, she captains Americas oil field services investing. Ann is a Director on the boards of U.S. Security Associates and of Interline Brands, where she serves on the audit and finance committees. She previously served as a Director of The First Marblehead Corporation. Ann’s previous experience includes corporate development at NBC Universal in New York and investment banking at Goldman Sachs in London, her home town. Ann serves on the Executive Committee of the United Way of New York City's Young Leaders Council. Ann received her BA (First Class) in economics from Cambridge University and her MBA (High Distinction) from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar and a Kennedy Scholar.
Jennifer Neff is an associate in the Strategic Capital Group of Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division, focusing on deal syndication. She previously spent two years on the Investment Team of Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division, focusing on Consumer Retail and Industrials investments. Prior to business school, Jennifer worked at Lehman Brothers (and later Neuberger Berman) on the Investment Team for LBAIM, Lehman Brothers’ fund of hedge fund business. She is a member of the Brown University Annual Fund Young Leadership Council and the Junior Council of Daniel’s Music Foundation. Jennifer received her BA magna cum laude from Brown University in 2006, where she was Captain of the Women’s Varsity Squash Team, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011.
Neha Santiago is a Vice President in the Goldman Sachs Merchant banking Division, focusing on value-add and opportunistic real estate investing across both equity and debt opportunities. In this role, Neha focuses on the sourcing, origination and diligence associated with all asset classes including hospitality/lodging, multifamily, office, retail, and industrial throughout the United States. Neha has over 9 years of real estate private equity and investment banking experience. Prior to attending business school, Neha worked at Lehman Brothers in the real estate principal group as an Associate and commenced her career in real estate as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch. Neha received her BS magna cum laude from Cornell University in 2003 and her MBA from The Wharton School in 2009.
