B&E Club Events

  • February 25th, 12pm ET: Sustainability Consulting Panel (co-hosting with the Consulting Club). Register here on CampusGroups. Panelists include:

  • February 25th, 4-5pm ET: Building Power for Radical Food System Change with Heal Food Alliance-- CBEY is excited to host a conversation with HEAL Food Alliance Director Navina Khanna about HEAL’s national multi-sector, multi-racial coalition of 60 organizations working to radically transform our current food system where profits are valued over people and the planet. Learn more and register here.
  • February 23-26: 7th Annual Yale Food Systems Symposium-- Join virtual panels, workshops, and digestion sessions that cover a range of topics, from seaweed farming to next-generation land access to worker wellbeing in the face of COVID-19. This conference is open to all.  Register here.
  • Tuesdays through March 2, 12-1pm: YSE Sustainable Municipalities Speaker Series -- Each session will begin with an introduction by Yale faculty followed by municipal leaders presenting innovative case studies across the US. Topics for coming weeks include Safe Mobility for All, Reinventing Greenspaces, and Eco-districts. Register here.
  • February 18-26: Green Innovator Chats -- Tsai CITY and CBEY have partnered to host a series of 'Green Innovator' chats this semester. Each conversation will focus on a different approach to tackling environmental challenges through business and innovation. Topics and hosts range from Ryan Li and Joseph Lybik from ReVert, a smart appliances startup deploying AI and IOT to household appliances, to Marisa Repka and Ben Christensen from Cambium Carbon, an early stage circular economy startup reforesting America by enabling local wood economies.   • Consider registering for the email list for the Berkeley Haas Patagonia Case Competition -- the dates are TBA.
  • Know anyone who’s interested in renewable energy? CBEY offers a certificate program in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy (FDCE) designed for working professionals who want to help accelerate the transition to clean energy. While the program is not aimed at current Yale degree-seeking students, it may be great for your former colleagues who are interested in energy. Applications for the 2021-2022 cohort are due March 14th, so please pass on information about the program to your network. Contact Caroline James (caroline.james@yale.edu) with questions.
