Details
Andrew's bio: Prior to SOM, Andrew was a Program Manager at GiveDirectly, an NGO that delivers no-strings-attached cash transfers to people in poverty. He primarily worked on US programs, including GiveDirectly’s first domestic guaranteed income program and a disaster relief campaign after Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Fiona in 2022. He also supported the expansion of GiveDirectly’s Digital Innovation team, which identifies how the organization can use emerging technologies to improve its international aid delivery. Andrew has also worked on Democratic political campaigns in a variety of functions (from organizing during the 2020 Iowa Caucus to managing a City Council race) and in management consulting in Washington, D.C. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 and is a native New Yorker who enjoys reading fiction, watching soccer, and playing board games.
