Details

On Saturday, January 25th, Yale VITA is holding a final, comprehensive training and certification session for interested volunteers who were unable to attend fall training and certification sessions. All information needed to complete the Basic and Advanced Preparer Certifications will be covered. There will be a morning training session, followed by a certification session in the afternoon. The day will last from 10:00am until approximately 2:30pm. Food will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to complete one weekly two hour shift during the January to April tax season. Join several SOM peers who have already passed the exam and will be using their financial knowledge for good in the New Haven community! No previous tax knowledge necessary.
